My boy in Soulcalibur has always been Rock. When he isn't there, I just make him as a custom character.

Man that brings me back, Rock. "BANGOOOOOOOOOO."

Rock... I go custom, i would like to be a guy version of my character.

Astaroth is usually my heavy player of Choice, but of the two Rock is a little faster and all the little hits stack a lot of damage fast :) Rock definitely has his merits, AND he's pretty much been with the story from back when the game series started with "SOUL BLADE" on the PSX. (soul Edge if you're from japan ^^)

come to think of it there are many popular characters that carried over from the old games.... Mitsurugi, Rock, Seigfreid, Cervantes, voldo, Taki, sophitia and Seong mi-na. Li-long became Maxi, seigfreid became nightmare but his play style didn't change much until they separated later in the series. and the other mainstay characters Like Kilik, Xiangua, and Ivy were introduced later.

Hwang got nixed after the first soulcalibur game and replaced with Yun-seong... yeah... not too wild about that myself no offense to yun-seong players...

Gotta love the mix of barbaric and scantily clad medieval here.

I definitely love the belief in Soul Calibur that a girl dressed for a bachelor party or a guy in a loincloth could conceivably defeat anyone wearing even a little bit of armor. Even if you believe in the whole "mobility vs. defense" canard, armor can be made lightweight enough to afford all the speed as if you were fighting au naturel but a great deal more defense.

Her boobs fall out of the ring, and a day later the rest of her falls out of the ring.

Rock was the thing that forced to tell myself "yes, I like men. I don't think you can really get anymore masculine" this was before internet for me. Also the rock I am talking about is in soul caliber 3.

Ah, Soul Calibur...it's fun to create your own characters! Make sure you grind a lot to unlock all the parts...

Which one do you have, and for what system? I could use some people to play aginst on the PSN...
