Vinden's always been pretty free with his body, eschewing the bulky robes of the stereotypical mage in favor of a breezy loincloth. The downside of such economical clothing is that it normally doesn't allow for a range of magical protections. Vinden found a novel way around that, by making magical rings. His power has even grown to such a degree that he can surpass the usual two ring limit. He can use up to nine and frequently does.

So that's four ring in each nipple. Just don't ask where the ninth one is hiding.
