It's Spring!! Yea!! Time for Spring cleaning!!
Boo!! Or yea, depending how grubby things
have gotten over the winter.
Ditto situation for our married wolf and
bunny. Although a good spring cleaning
can turn up some quite unexpected things.
Could almost hear his ears go <Poing!> as I wrote this.

On A Spring Cleaning Discovery (#37)
The dark room lights up and I shake my head.
All wolves (and me) just loathe a messy den.
So winter’s done. Let’s clean this joint, she said.
You take the storeroom; it’s the real pigpen.
Why thank you dear (Real wolves would just move out).
What to keep, what to trash: it’s quite a stack.
We’re fur packrats. What Walmart junks I doubt
Gets past her. Me as bad. But wait: In back?
A big box. Damaged. A crib? Good, I think.
And some toys, in the same shape. Can’t be sold.
The pile’s been growing for some time. I sink
Down on a bench, just stare. The thought takes hold.
What could be in this room? Or rather, who?
It’s Spring. There’s something else we ought to do.
