Ladies and Gentlefurs, I give you my TMNT: Foot Soldier costume :-D
I must say I am rather quite happy with how it came out.
The costume consist (so far) of:
- Mask: lycra material shaped into a hood with metal mesh eyes which were made of sink strainers. The inner part of the mesh eyes have a rubber piece overlaping it so that the metal does not scratch my eyes.
- Bandana: Thick canvas-like material I bough from Wal-Mart.
-Over-shirt and Pants: Are simply black hospital scurbs (uniform)
Undershirt: A basic lycra long-sleeved undershirt.
-Belt: Made from very stretchy shiny black cire spandex.
Booties: Are actually self-made lycra tabi socks, meant to be worn with Tabi boots...but you get away with just wearing them with sandles <^.^'> .
Now mind you there are still some things to be done with it. I still need the arm gauntlets and REAL Tabi boots. I will be making the gauntlets and purchasing the Tabi boots via ebay real soon.
I just wanted the costume completed enough were it could be wearable this coming PS meet (April, 2012)
