Iago is another one of my all time favorite cartoon characters. I can honestly say I enjoyed The Return of Jafar more than the original Aladdin, in part thanks to the fact that so much of the story focuses on him. :p

When I was little I used to put on a play of this song with a friend of mine and I was always Iago...damned if I'd play the role of Jasmine! No. I hated the girl roles (still do) so my friend always played her. XD I could totally do his voice too, pretty spot on. I wonder if I'd have impressed Gilbert Gottfried. XD

At any rate, that was years ago and I haven't drawn Iago in far too long so it was time for a picture like this! I did him totally from memory.

PS: That's my wolfdog fursona Socks is dancing with him, much like Jasmine does in "Forget About Love" The only thing is, Socks would totally agree with his anti-romance statements. :D
