From a story Gavin is working on, Gavin and Three have liberated a slave colony and are sailing on to continue their work when they spot a rather large battlecruiser bearing down on their vastly inadequate boat.
We teased Gavin about his magic robes and started calling for a pimp getup for him. I had put a necklace around his neck to make the robes look like magic robes instead of a bathrobe... so he's gone from freshly showered to pimp. I'm sure he's grateful to me for that... *shot*

Another item that would make the Wizard's togs look less like bathroom wear is to add fancy embroidered symbols and decorations running up the sleeves and sides. But yes. It looks less like a bathrobe here, and adding the large, ornate necklace adds to the ensemble well.
