He was my friend for 13 years.

He was my first friend, and my most loyal.

I'll miss him a lot, but he's going to be cremated so I don't have to part with him.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I know what you're going through; I had to put down my dog of nearly 15 years a few years ago. The memories you have of them will be some of your greatest treasures. At least you know now that they are in a better place, free of any pain they may have felt. *hugs tightly*
