A nice sketch by  pav showing some of the type of guns found in the hands of the people roaming my sonas setting, this plus more commissions is going to slowly but surly expand the lore of the setting around my sona, both because I love sharing things in my brain, plus once I finally get around writing stories it´s be much easier for folks to grasp the world.

Category I
These are the most common type of guns found in the world, from left to right, revolvers, shotguns & rifles. Revolvers in particular is very common, becoming a household item anyone carries outside there house, among many towns out in the wasteland revolver bullets of all sorts of calibre and quality have become a form of currency, often used to smooth out trading deals, heck even among more bigger, "civilized" groups like the Order this form of trading is still common.

Category II
A more semi rare category of weapons, these guns, commonly nicknamed "cog guns" was a early result of the invention of magic driven technology, thus gas operated pistols never came to being.

The gun operates by the user pulling back the back end of the gun, this feeds a round into the chamber and the cog transfers the motion energy into raw magic, storing it in the gun, once the trigger is pulled the round is fired and the stored up magic is released, making the cog drive the back end back, ejecting the casing and allowing a new to be feed into the chamber, the return of the back end filling the gun with magic again.

First gun shows the slide back, revealing the cog, second shows a even rarer double barrel version and finally the rifle version, who uses the alternative fire of the two barrels to create a somewhat resemble of auto fire.

Category III
These are so called Spellcasters (or simply Wands as there nicknamed), a very late development said to have been invented a year or so before the great Sundering rip the world to shreds, leaving the wasteland it is now, they are designed to launch powerful magic spells, both harmful and helpful and thus give common men the power of age old mages, because there unusual design and small production, each working gun is a magic relic sought by many.

First model is the "common" (aka so far 5 working models are known) single shot pistol, second is the much rarer (aka 2 models) side by side shotgun style wand, third is the one of a kind triple barrel model, held in a secret vault of the Order, treated as a Excalibur to be brought out only in need.
