I don't get how people can sell/trade generic 2 colour designs. e__e

Then how do you improve yourself if no one can see fault in what you are doing? I am not criticising you for your artwork, because the artwork itself is fine. I am critiscising you for selling these as 'Original Characters' when each individual 'character' so to speak looks the exact same just with different colours. I just fail to see why anyone would want to buy these 'characters' when there is absolutley no originality in it whatsoever.

And the reason I critiscise you is because, what you are doing just now is something that alot of people are doing.

Your characters are mere templates and there is no way that anyone could identify them just by looking at them.

I apologise if this offends you, but I am only telling you what I think.

I do accept this critique and so everything with that, but the chose was up to me, and I am not "Selling" them, I was just hoping any newbe searching for a character has would saw them and desiced to have a trade.
The linearts are made by me, and believe me, I would have done a better work if I would have got time and a full healing.

I personally don't find anything wrong with these designs. They're simple, natural colors and each one has a slightly different color scheme and markings. There is no reason to put someone down or criticize their work if you're not going to offer some helpful advice. Posting ridiculing comments is just rude. The point of adopts is to give the character personality, accessories, change the markings slightly if the artist is okay with it. You breathe the life into your adoptable. And some people like the simple look for some characters. Just because they're not an original species or don't have ridiculously complex markings or neon/unnatural colors doesn't mean the artist didn't work hard on it. People learn by trial and error, so if they don't sell or get trade offers the artist will know to do something different next time. They're not even being sold for money so if you dot like it you should just kindly skip over them. And, pardon my language, but if I were the artist I'd tell all of you to go royally fuck yourselves. /rant

All that being said, I am interested in trading for Anouk and Dauriane because I find their simple colors and designs to be quite refreshing. I'm not super at drawing ferals, I'm better at anthro/humans with animal features. But tell me what you like and I'll give it my best shot. ;3

I have asked around to my friends if those comments were true, if those people were right and they weren' t. I am a digital artist who loves naturalistic designs, and keep my characters in the limits of the naturalistic, it' s a hard work, because a simple marking can be unnatural to all the rest of the design.
It' s easy make some sparkling dogs just like that sock of Edward Cullen, with extra stuff, neon colors, piercings, tatoos and everything on, and for be truly those words seemed racistic to me.
Does natural designs are not welcome here? I was asking to myself and I' ve found the conclusion: Thosw who critique other' s work are not welcome here. I have joined some weeks ago and you jump on me like that by my first experience? What should I say about this commiunity if 3 people on 5 just leave bad comments here because I have just used the same lineart (Made by myself) and put on less chances of colors?

I was actually going to custom make you some based off of what you like. :3 I don't have any bases, I'll draw them up when I make 'em. Give me 1 or 2 species you like and some basic colors that are your favorite and I'll make you some from scratch. You can have a look at my gallery if you want, there isn't much I'm pretty new.

I would love to recive a chow chow and may be a german shepherd. You can choose every color you want for the german shepherd as long as they are realistic. About the chow chow, I would prefer NOT a black or cream one, because I already have two characters with that colors.

If this request is too hard for you, tell me and I' ll try with something easier.
