Still the side burns and the excess hair is suppose to be a result of Wolverines healing factor, a factor that Daken also has. Yet he also doesn't have the excess hair since he only has a mow hake and a tattoo witch he isn't suppose to have since the healing factor is suppose to cancel it out. And I never said the Puma twins were suppose to look like him, just that that's what they could do with the excess hair.
You know... I have a feeling that you just don't know how to deal with a woman who has facial hair, by virtue of lack of exposure and a culture which shames women into removing the majority of their body hair.
Newsflash! Women are hairy! And yes, some even have facial hair. Your Rogue example is noted, but still doesn't seem relevant; that's Rogue, not X-23. My design choice for X-23 here was a conscious one to turn the traditional design paradigm on its head and show a more realistic woman, rather than the idealized trope we're so frequently bombarded with. Wolverine is a short, stocky, hairy lug, and I strongly suspect that if his Y chromosome were swapped for another X, she'd STILL be a short, stocky, hairy lug.

Whoa whoa whoa, no need to go all activist on me. I never said it was bad, I actually said it was good. You don't need to get all defensive because I don't like a particular hair stile. Hell I don't like Mutton chops on anyone including the real wolverine. I just found it strange that since the healing factor gives the person more hair like Saber-tooth and wolverine why that wasn't the case with Daken, Lara, and Rough.
With respect, debating and arguing for my point does't necessarily mean I'm defensive.
But I think my ramble kind of made the very point you're asking about--the reason you DON'T see it on Daken, Laura (as she officially appears), and Rogue-gone-Sabretooth is most likely purely aesthetic design choices. Facial hair isn't too common on heroes OR villains, and on female characters--who are, most likely, designed with maximum sex appeal in mind)--it's practically verboten, unless it's an old woman or hag who is deliberately designed to be as ugly as possible (note also that ugly is often a visual cue for evil as well). Daken is, from my understanding, supposed to be handsome and sexy, and has an ability to manipulate his pheromones to be as enticing as possible, so I imagine they wanted to make him as much of a pretty-looking bad boy as they could.
Although, now that I think about it, if excessive hair is a result of having a healing factor, that's even MORE of a reason for Laura to be unusually hairy for a female, on account of her healing factor is far more potent and rapid than Wolverine's...
It's totally fine if you don't like my design choice. But from my perspective, a lot of your comments seemed to me to be arguing against it (citing Daken and Sabretooth!Rogue as examples of hairless faces, and offering alternate suggestions for how to handle moar hair), hence the tone of my responses.

Which is very true, and I thanked you for that.
Looking back over our conversation, I think I found where things derailed:
"I'm not saying she couldn't have hair like the Puma twins. Still even Daken wolverine's son has been able to wear a mow hake for a while now." and "Hell even Rouge didn't have mutton chops when she absorbed Sabertooths power in X-men Evolution." (plus the "sarcastic" icon), are where the line between "I like it overall" and "you should have done it like this instead of that" was crossed, and I felt like I had to defend my very deliberate artistic choices.

Sorry no "hmm," thinking icon was optional to me. And I was just trying to think of other hairstyles for a person who has a healing factor and allot of hair, hell she could even have hippy girl body hair and furry pit's but I'd still love Larah. I just never liked the mutton chop look, especially on a woman, but that's just my personal preference.
Hell even Rouge didn't have mutton chops when she absorbed Sabertooths power in X-men Evolution.
