I just now (as in, today) started seriously studying anatomy.

What I was trying to do here in regards to the anatomy was figure out what it would be for this particular character, based on what I already know.

From my experience, everyone's differs, I would try getting samples and ideas for a character.

I actually have a database on Picasa, with tags, that I use for character reference and ideas to get a better idea of what a character should look like :P

And for 30min this is quite well and with more practice you can get this kind of stuff done a lot faster :D

I am working on getting more practice; started another head (lost this one due to a crash), and am using it to practice making scales.

ja, you did what I attempted a while ago which was freeform, no tracing, which can be hard but very rewarding once comfortable with and beyound rewarding once mastered :D even if it ist neit realistic (if that ist you aim) it ist still some thing to boast when you can jump in a CG program and just design some thing from the mind. Unlike me, that has to cheat and trace lol
