Today has so far been much better than yesterday. I feel a little silly for getting so upset, but fuck it; those were legit reasons.
We went to the capitol building (I brought my iPod with me and I was listening to KMFDM the entire time. Ironic), the Natural History Museum, the American History Museum, and the Air and Space Museum. They were all pretty cool, and I wish I had more time to browse them.
The one that surprised/impressed me the most was an art exhibit at the Air and Space Museum about aircraft in the United States Marine Corps. The quality of those paintings was really impressive.
