Lei-Lani posted the original version of this picture in her own gallery, HERE. It's the crab apple tree in her back yard. Right now it's in full bloom and as you can see, it's very beautiful.With her permission, I've made her photo into a wallpaper at 1280X800 resolution, (since that's what I use.) I nudged the contrast and saturation a bit to make the colours pop and trimmed the top to make it fit, but otherwise left it alone. (The white balance is good; the blossoms are pale pink.)
Ah, if only my camera was working, I'd WP the forsythia in my own front lawn.
