Hello furries and dwaggons who stumbled aross this submission :3
For learning purpose but also for gifting purpose I've created a few days ago a little tool for creating (using 3D polygons) a sort of animated icons.
The submission file here is just a random frame from one example.
If you want one of your own, you only need to provide some the following things. If you skip something I'll chose more or less random on my own, so dun be afraid because of this list.
Icon Size (for FA 100*100)
Short name (I'd suggest just the initials...)
Outer circle corners (how edgy the outer ring is: 4 - 64 In example: 16)
Inner circle corners
Six (preferably different) colors in the following order:
- Background animation color (in example: blue)
- Outer circle ring (has half as much edges as circle - in example: bright green)
- Outer circle shading (in example: blue-green)
- Inner circle ring (in example: bright blue)
- Inner circle shading (in example: red)
- Text color
- (optionaly) Special background color instead of black
How big the circles should be (the best you'd say how much bigger than in this example)
Background animation type (look in the examples listed below... there are growing and shrinking circles, bars, 3d-transforming triangles and rectangles.. and some more.. You can also provide an angle of the background animation)
Everyone who asks get's the gif file, so that's no raffle! =) (And it does not count only for the day of easter!)
Unfortunately the _extremly_ tight maximal size of 50 kb for icons on FA destroyes a huge part of the quality :/

Just noticed that IE displays those animations far schlower than FireFox. I don't think that that's my fault though. i've set the framespeed when making the gif file and FF actually uses those.. IE ignores this though ><
Tell me if you want any different version though. Higher size/quality or anything =)

Oh that's not possible then... i'm doing those already on the practicaly strongest compression possible.. just 31 colors and all tricks available in Gif... Guess DA is just not suited for proper animated icons, is it?

Well I have to say sir well do well done *wing claps* The colors I not quite I expected, but I have not been here in almost to days so I would not have been able to answer your form. I think the current color scheme is quite fitting though; I can say I have a new avi to show now.

Unfotunately luck was not on our side here :( the compression is just not enough for FA for better quality.. therefore the quality in this is redecued :/ If you'd like to use it in MSN or any other messenger tell me though and I make you quickly a less compressed version =)
