Happy Birthday, eliki! *snugs* Here's hoping you'll have a wonderful day!
I hope you'll like this little picture I got for you, too. It started out as a rather silly idea of the two of us striking goofy, heroic poses, while holding pens and paintbrushes rather than swords. But I think it's rather appropriate, too. After all, people like the two of us have had as much of an impact on the world as anyone with a sword in their hand, and have done far more good in it, as well. You certainly have, not least by providing me with a constant source of inspiration and encouragement. Maybe nobody will build a statue to you, but you'll always be a hero to me.

*Snuggles* As far as the words go, they're simply the truth. But I'm so glad you like them, and the picture both. You're most welcome for the picture, too. I wanted to get you a little something for your birthday, and this was an idea that had been floating around in my head for a while anyway, so I ran with it. I really thought it was something that would work, too. What is art, after all, but an act of exploration and a way to open up new worlds for yourself and others? The worlds you create are so bright and cheerful, too, and they're always so full of a sense of optimism, even at their darkest, that I know they've really done a lot to help me over the years, and I'm sure they've helped others people, too. And, as I said, they have served as a real inspiration for me, too. So I simply thought it was worth celebrating all of that, and I wanted to thank you for sharing your work with us, too.
As for posting it, of course you may. You're always welcome to post any art I commission as a gift for you, and I'd be honored if you did.
