Something I did from boredom, I wanted to look up the symbolism of the Tanuki statues since I recently came into the possession of one. This is what I could find, and if i'm wrong correct me. :3

as soon as i saw Pom Poko, I instantly went out and got a tattoo of one on my side.

my tattoo artist designed him, so he doesn't have the traditional rice hat, and i'm a little upset that the tail is wrong, but all in all i'm very happy with him ^.^
