$33 Full Color commission for Psytrin http://www.furaffinity.net/user/psytrin , though the image is a gift for one of his friends. Basically, wanted a specific group and something celebratory. The characters present are from the anime series called Highschool DxD. Left to right: Issei, Akeno, Koneko, Asia, Kiba, Rias. I know quite little about them, and those who want to know more it has an ecchi harem vibe for sure.
I think I drew over 12 gestures for this image total since I couldn't really figure out the heights of any of them and kind of just gave up and hoped I wouldn't be killed for getting them wrong. As long as the shot is above the knee, the rest could be standing on stilts, so clever diversion. Other than that, I find it sort of embarrassing that I struggled so much with drawing this style and paying absolute homage to the references. Start off drawing anime, then ween myself out if, now I have problems drawing it. Irony. Then again, if I had drawn anime works more like this back when I started, I definitely wouldn't be complaining. Host of color and I do appreciate the challenge and flexing of styles.
