I love how the animal prints around it look like a curtain setting a stage. Very unsettling, but gorgeous as always....you mix images of different tones/textures so well!

when making collages, I try to create surreal little 'scenes' that rely on juxtaposition and dreary concepts
at the moment I'm interested in concepts dealing with motherhood and how one would deal with the deformity of their child
would they love them even more for their deformities? or would they be ashamed and horrified?
I like raising troubling questions like that.

I like questions like that too. That's a debate we actually have fairly often at my house, we talk about really odd and upsetting things for fun here. XP I'm looking forward to more from this series. :)
