Because clearly I needed to write for more insane characters; and the two psychopathic characters in the PCA aren't enough to keep me satisfied. Still, at least Delyth's well-meaning in the end; and it's a very nice challenge to try and write for characters with psychological disorders. Also, there aren't enough Welsh characters around nowadays.

Fur/Skin Colour: Black as per her species’ natural colouring.
Eye Colour: Bright blue.
Personality:
Due to having suffered rather heavily from post-traumatic stress in her past Delyth currently suffers from a thankfully minor case of borderline personality disorder; and thus can often be difficult for her teammates to deal with when her symptoms are in full swing; although she is generally fairly easy to get along with so long as one overlooks her rather extreme tastes. As per the mental disorder Delyth suffers primarily from significant mood swings; typically in regards to others; as she occasionally falls into either side of the extremes of idealising or demonising people she is close to for short periods of time. Another major symptom of her issues is her tendency to rely on ‘black and white thinking’ or splitting as per the aforementioned habit; and falling into depressive episodes of severe feelings of lack of identity or victimisation; as well as a mild case of psychopathy; although she has taken notable steps to learn to address and identify sympathy regardless of her issue.
Beyond her disorder, however; Delyth does have her own personality; although it is often submerged by the episodes that the psychological case brings upon her. While she does sometimes fall into the common trait among individuals with the disorder of being deliberately difficult or manipulative the Weavile is typically rather eager to aid the Guild and has few qualms with its management or personnel; a rarity given the troubled times the organisation currently faces. She is quite fine with following orders and using her skills to aid civilians and teammates; and while somewhat selfish on occasion generally places the needs of her mission ahead of her own. She can be somewhat dominant towards her compatriots in typical social situations; but is quick to fall into line when push comes to shove on the field; being ill-suited for leadership positions.
In her everyday dealing with her comrades Delyth’s tendency to attach herself to those who are kind to her and fall into moments of over-affection and devaluation due to her disorder tends to distance herself from her comrades; and her often frowned upon likings for rather more nightmarish concepts also aid in the negative reputation her teammates give her. Despite these traits though Delyth is a genuinely kind and well-meaning girl; at least for those who return the favour; and even with her extreme mood swings is actually often quite a lot less destructive and critical towards the Guild and her allies than many of the other members of the organisation; although overall she tends to simply act coldly to others while she isn’t under the effects of a mood-swing; knowing well how most of her attempts at friendliness end up.
Interests:
Delyth is typically seen as something of a freak by most of her comrades due to her rather concerning tastes; having a notable interest in sado-masochism and general BDSM; although whether this is a sexual preference brought to light or genuine curiosity is definitely debatable; though naturally few are really intent on finding out the truth. She can be quite loud about this interest if provoked to discuss it; but has learnt to repress her temptation to voice her curiosities given the poor reputation it has garnered her.
Despite her primary interest in such suspect practices Delyth has more conventional tastes as well; having a soft spot for fashion; particularly when it comes to more formal clothing as per the Weavile’s usual preferences in outfits. Delyth also has particular interest and savant-like skill when it comes to medicine and surgery; having already gotten a PHD in medicine and having proven her place within the Guild as quite the skilled doctor; acting alongside the similarly skilled members of faculty. Of course; she is no one-woman surgical team; but her abilities are still invaluable given the organisation’s tight budget. She is also something of a budding artist; although she tends to be quite shy about her watercolour creations even though they are fairly conventional in their style and subjects.
Biography:
Delyth originally came from Esther City; part of a reasonably rich family who naturally expected great things of their first daughter; primarily that she would continue their family’s legacy as being head of one of the city’s foremost electronics retail chains; a consistently profitable business for obvious reasons. However, their hopes were not to come about as their continued pressure upon the girl even at a young age to take up the trade of corporative management soon put her off of the idea forever; and thus the parents’ efforts to force the concept upon their daughter only became more and more desperate; almost to the point of abuse.
At the age of twelve Delyth was still under siege by her parents’ expectations when they ended up having another daughter; whom they thus set up to be their successor instead of Delyth. With her parents’ attention suddenly gone from her the Weavile was simply confused and terrified by the implications; swiftly giving her psychological state quite the battering. However, the catalyst for her case of post-traumatic stress disorder and in turn her borderline personality disorder was in fact that loss of one of her best friends in a car crash; a blow that truly shattered the girl’s life.
After several years of psychological treatment courtesy of her fearful parents Delyth finally regained at least some hold on her life; managing to finish high school and university with flying colours; but without any friends due to her condition; her savant-like studying abilities allowing her to earn a doctorate in medical studies; much to the pride of her parents.
However, after so long alone the Weavile had gotten herself plenty of time for her hatred of her parents to fester for their past treatment of her; deciding to throw away their hopes of having a true doctor in the family and instead joining the Guild to spite her family; far from the expected career for such successful students. Distancing herself from her relatives Delyth took up her new life as a member of the Guild with considerable dedication; deciding that she would not let her disorder hold her back from helping the world despite her parents belief in going to extreme lengths to avert its effects.
Appearance/Clothing:
Delyth is quite intimidating in her appearance; her frail psychological state quite clear from her looks. Her magenta hair is typically kept perfectly straight; styled in a combover with one side of it being long enough to reach below her shoulder with room to spare; while the other side is left at about half the length (of course; when it comes to her medical work and occasionally her field work she does tie her long hair into a ponytail). While her body is in a fairly good state of fitness; albeit with a slightly scrawny but still slightly curvy physique; she has some rather serious scars across her face; notably including some claw-like gashes across her left eye and several similar cuts near her lips and down her forehead; and many similar scars across her body; albeit generally being far less concentrated.
The Weavile generally likes to dress in quite formal dress; albeit mostly in more masculine outfits like suits; although she on special occasions she does have quite the selection of dresses to work with. Of course; on the field such formalwear is generally a poor choice in clothing; and thus Delyth often wears a more modern and simple outfit to fit the situation; generally made up of a black pair of trousers and a purple hooded jumper over a black shirt; along with a pair of black combat boots for their practicality and their dissonance with the rest of her reserved outfit. On occasions when she can get away with a suit, though; her preferred one is a magenta pin-stripe suit jacket and trousers; fitting her hair nicely.
Likes: Loyalty, Fear, Blood, Acceptance, Cold Weather
Dislikes: Rejection, Condescension, Loneliness, Neutrality, Video Games
Strengths:
Delyth is has almost unnatural skill in medicine for her age; able to handle most surgical procedures that she can possibly deal with given the Guild’s limited budget and equipment; a vast advantage for the organisation given its dangerous field of work. Her loyalty to the Guild is also a definite strength; at least for the Guild itself; and her dedication to the missions she is involved in and her leaders is similarly appreciated and often beneficial to her as well given her lack of experience with acting in such positions. Delyth is also a reasonable fighter; having shown the capacity to take a lot of punishment in the past without fainting and having proven herself as being very good at dealing with her opponents in non-lethal ways courtesy of her ice moves; along with anything else she keeps up her sleeves; and being able to do so effectively is quite the treasured talent within the Guild given their reputation.
Having experienced plenty of rejection and isolation with her condition Delyth has also gained a definite open-minded attitude towards her comrades’ interests and opinions; even though she generally looks upon people themselves in either a highly positive or highly negative view due to her disorder. She is also a genuinely good person beyond her psychological condition’s effects; although the fact is often ignored due to most of her comrades’ initial assumptions as to her attitude.
Weaknesses:
Obviously, Delyth’s most notable flaw is her disorder and its symptoms; which usually keep her from being able to really talk to people or form long-term relationships; not to mention which can easily interrupt any missions she is on (although curiously she has never fallen prey to one of her episodes during any medical operations or the like; probably because her personal interest in the subject keeps her mind off of any trigger concepts). She is also not the best battler when she has to deal with having teammates; unused the need to work with allies while in fights; and she has a notable weakness in being unable to keep up with foes faster than herself given her slower range of moves.
Due to her disorder Delyth has a lot of trouble understanding the concept of grey fields of morality and can often fall into episodes of idealisation or demonization of others; as well as depressive episodes; to the point of rare but definitely occurring acts of self-harm; primarily out of shame for her lack of ability to handle relationships. In her true personality, though; Delyth has the problems of often being too cold or reclusive in regards to others; which can be a problem on the field should intense teamwork be highly necessary. Her psychopathic issue can also cause problems since most people don’t take such a lack of sympathy too well; although Delyth does her best to make up for the condition.
Moves:
Metal Claw: In combat Delyth has a penchant for being quite the violent and ruthless fighter; a reputation only bolstered by her species’ traditional use of their naturally metallic claws. Despite her lithe appearance; however; Delyth is quite slow in her attacks due to the weight of her massive claws which are easily longer than half her own height. Despite this setback, though; the Weavile’s slashes are generally quite punishing; and with some exertion she can pull off a powerful flurry of slashes.
Cut: While more of Delyth and really the Guild’s slashing attacks are focussed more on wearing down foes with more bludgeoning blows rather than cutting ones; Delyth is quite comfortable in spilling some blood with her more powerful slashes; although such piercing attacks generally take more of a wind-up to pull off and are generally more useful for their psychological effects than their combat advantages.
Ice Beam: While Delyth still uses this move as a traditional beam; her form is more brittle than most and is made to make a continuous strand of ice between her and her foe rather than being used as an outright blasting attack; essentially forming a tether of ice. Delyth’s combat style generally relies on these chains of ice; dragging to herself and binding or freezing them in order to leave them open to her powerful but slow claw strikes.
Ice Punch: Despite her usage of Ice Beam as a utility move rather than a properly offensive move Delyth still uses Ice Punch as a traditional strike; with the aim of freezing her foes with her icy attacks and thus leaving them at her mercy; although admittedly Delyth’s basic fighting skills are somewhat subpar in comparison to her skills with her claws.
Faint Attack: Due to her slower strikes Delyth tends towards using terror tactics and ambushes in order to get close to her foes; since she isn’t the most durable of sorts. With this move she can pull herself into a shadow and thus leap out from another in order to close in on foes faster and ambush unwary foes from the darkness. However; the Weavile tends to find getting into the darkness in the first place to be something of an awkward process; and thus typically cannot enter shadows with much expediency.
Leer: Over time Delyth has learnt to embrace her psychopathic side to some extent; knowing well how it manages to unnerve others. With this move she ups the ante of her sado-masochistic habits by giving her eyes a highly unsettling yellow glow; making her irises stand out profusely and leaving her eyes quite wide open; giving her the proper look of a person worth fearing given she already has scars and clothing to suit such a persona; and with little effort her mannerisms can easily match the look.
Payback: While Delyth is not really specialised in being durable she is still no pushover; able to take more punishing blows than many of her comrades; probably courtesy to some of her more… intense experiences with her masochistic edge. She is still not one to take such blows lying down though; being quick to retaliate against blows from anyone foolish to come within range of her massive claws with a swift and punishing slash courtesy of the aforementioned appendages.
Fake Out: Another one of Delyth’s moves tailored towards making up for her slower movement and attacks; this move consists of a sudden and swift dash and slash for dazing unwary foes; a fine way to start a fight but also a rather exhausting move given the effort needed to tug along her claws at a speed high enough to actually surprise a foe; making it generally unusable beyond an opening attack.
