A tiny wolf spider I noticed in the empty pool that my nieces use when they visit.
Not sure why this came out so horribly. The spider was twitchy and I think the flash may have reflected oddly off the pool.
Still, a decent specimen.

hmm - with those hairy legs i'ld have guessed lynx spider myself, but what do i know?

You can be afraid of it and like it too. :)
I used to be really bad about being afraid of spiders. Photography has helped that a lot. Tiny guys like this one don't bother me any more.
Some of the bigger ones still creep me out, but the fact that I can get close to them now speaks volumes.
