Soo redesigned the Shakuntai race, they look more like the creepy aliens they are~!

This is Alpha type; or their "natural" form, these critters are so genetically unstable they mutate easily between generations, and use this to their advantage in adapting to the new planets they take over, they've found uses for almost every mutated individual (some are just too far mutated to be useful to the hive so are eaten.

The hive works very much like that of bees, with a queen residing over all; however, as well as the "Queen" there is a collection of lesser Queens (easier term would be "Princess") that also contribute to increasing population size and should anything happen to the queen, these fight amongst themselves to take her place.

The Queens and princesses are the only ones that are termed as "female" though there is no determined genders in the Shakuntai race, just the ability to replicate or not, those who Can replicate, become the leaders of teams, who head out and take over sections of the planet they invade, in order to overcome obstacles and environmental weaknesses they take DNA from the local wildlife and replicate themselves with it until they produce a form better suited for the situation. Occasionally, even a deeply mutated individual will repliacate an Alpha type, thus the species never trully evolves in the sense that is seen on earth.

These creatures are pretty much Kunean hell, Astro's home planet was overrun and eventually destroyed by them, and she sure as hell doesn't want 'Earth' to go the same way. Only bad thing for the Shakuntai, is Kuneans find their flesh a delicacy, as stringy and tough as it is.
