Concept of my redesigned dragon sona, whom you see, looks nothing like Loaf. I imagine they'd be two separate entities, rather than being different versions of the same being, as Avy and her forms had been.

But I have to hold off on the decision making. Still not sure how exactly I want to construct this beast anyhow. I just know I want it to be a Wyvern. Though Eastern Dragons are my favorite type, they are too... peaceful in terms of their symbolism to work as a representative for my sometimes terrible demeanor. Even when I had Avy dragon, I always drew her roaring or destroying something, and that just goes against the heavenly nature of most Chinese dragons. So I switched to the Wyvern instead. A little more specific than "generic four legged winged dragon" but still far from being out of the ordinary. Nice, stereotypical, doesn't stand out, but still symbolizes what I want.

Wyverns are notorious for being the protectors/guardians of something, usually something valuable like gold. My dragon has no gold or jewels. She (or he, haven't decided) has something even more valuable... and will fight to the death to protect it all the same.
