i almost fell off my seat when i first saw the thumbnail
this has got to be the first time a lock has scared me, which is surprising cause it seems that i have a fear of huge, gaping, toothed maws and yet your locks just fascinate and inspired me.
man i can only imagine how a lock would sound saying "lol" with that mouth O.o

X3 it makes sense now. o.o at first is looked like a bat with it's wings curled, but then when people said "gaping maw" i thought it was a panther being eaten by some kinda alien snake. X3 But i was like "why is the panther happy, and why is the snake the same color? (the bottom jaw looked like the snakes mouth from the side) but now i see it better. X3 thought you would find my brain spasms entertaining. :3

mythrat come from the same planet: I thought this fella was adorable and I couldn't help but giggle when I saw that face. It doesn't need anything, but a lolling tongue could be pretty awesome (assuming, of course your species even has a long, floppy tongue). * wants to hug it*
