Another 3D piece to sell (and another reason why there isn't a lot of 2D art of late on my gallery this year. This is a collaborative piece, I did the paint job detailing and research. It was built by Seb, and will be scripted by Aeon and Tank. Another vehicle to be sold on Sl so that I may eat. Enjoy!

They have a Flying Lancaster, and it appears at air shows occasionally. I haven't seen it personally, but a lot of youtubes of it in research. However, like the Collins Foundation B-24 Liberator, it is painted as two different aircraft, one on each side, to depict two different significant Canadian units in the war. We will probably be portraying both planes as delectable, optional paint schema to fly with. The Builder of this plane is a 19 year old from the U.K who has clambered around various Lancaster parts in various museums, including the non-flying,but complete one at the RAF museum at Hendon.
If it's flying, and in North America, that would probably be the Mynarski Lancaster, which is based out of Hamilton, Ontario. There's one in Nanton (just outside of Calgary) that's complete, and they've even had the engines running, but they haven't tried to fly it. Likewise, the Calgary Lancaster has yet to get off the ground.
Being part of the Commonwealth and all, we did end up using a lot of British kit during the war, and some of it was built in Canadian factories. In the case of Lancasters, 430 were built in Canada, and a lot of them were used after the war for maritime patrol and reconaissance.
