30 years ago, a long awaited dream awokes Argentina: the recovery of the Islas Malvinas, usurped by the United Kingdom in 1833. Was a short dream that quickly turned into a nightmare called war that took 914 lives. That was the result of the clash of 2 arrogant goverments: our dictadure and Margaret Tatcher (and friends). The 14th july of 1982 UK recovered the islands, now called again (for them) Falklands.
Is a VERY special day for argentina, even more here in the patagonia, even more if you can remember that facts, so i wanted to do my little tribute to all the people that died in that two "small stones" in the atlantic ocean. Petroleum site and strategic place for UK, a part of our heart for us

I am not that advanced to distinguish a "dagger" from EA just from the silhouette-outline... But it is a very nice model still. Now, that I have seen it in colour, I like it even more (although I must admit, I have thought of Grupo 8 painting as a bit less contrast, probably an effect of all the old video footage...) http://img.wp.scn.ru/camms/ar/145/pics/91_6.jpg If I ever get a chance, I'd like to build a Pucara!

ah yes, had some variations. i saw a two seater with the same one of your link =3 and several times you can see the old photos of them with the desertic colors drop-tanks... PERUVIAN gifted tanks =3 (hug to perú, btw!)
as extra i used the few paints that i am able to get with the blockage of my own goverment.... from modelkits to oncological medicaments! made outside of argentina? or goverment says THIS IS SPARTA

Y bueno, en cada conflicto subyacen intereses ulteriores; desapruebo las acciones de cada gobierno y dictadura en dicho contexto, en un escenario algo frágil (Guerra Fría y competencia de bloques), el partido conservador británico buscando desesperadamente más apoyo popular; la Junta Militar enfrentando la crisis económica, USA, Israel y Francia en doble standard, Chile del dictador Pinochet vendiendo inteligencia a los británicos, sobrepasar los criterios jurídicos del ius soli... en fin, como siempre, quienes pierden son quienes derraman sangre por una causa ulterior... en una especie de "nadie sabe para quién trabaja" de los poderes fácticos.
