Meet Misae (human) and Venus (dragon)! These two are from a book I'm writing, set after the nuclear apocalypse happens. A few inland cities in the US were spared, and society is on its way to rebuilding. However, due to the fact that fuel is pretty much nonexistant, transportation over long distances has become an issue.

The USPS gets its hands on some dragons that were created as pets for rich people and then abandoned. In an experimental program, they start seeing if they can get airmail back up and running. Misae is one of the first to apply.

So you guys will be seeing quite a bit of these two! :D

Edit: Oh yeah, that stuff coming out of her messenger bag is plot. XD
