Another look at my OC; MLP Sins of Friendship, Greed.

Greed is the oldest of the 7 sins and also the wisest. His knowledge of the arcane is second to none, and he's almost always been the voice of reason in the group.

In his younger days Greed was obsessed with collecting anything and everything, but as he grew older he saw a vision of what was to come were he to continue on his path. He blinded himself so that he would never again see the world as merely something to be kept locked away.

His greatest love now is the organisation of knowledge, mostly of magical origins.
