Chuck had just moved to the City of Light to better his Culinary degree and learning of the French language. His American teacher connected him with a locale chef to be an apprentice/clerk at his bakery/cafe. Though he had a steady job and education, Chuck still didn't know anyone close aside from his new mentor, and so always felt a subtle pang of loneliness. Until he saw a fellow orca regularly attend the cafe; what made him so visible was his coloring of a white body on a black underside.

They began sharing lunches, and soon grew as fast friends. Chuck moved out of his loft above the bakery/cafe and into Vanille's aparment, the orca so named due to his creamy-white skin. Chuck soon was named "Chocolat" by his new dearest, and such started a tender relationship. One a buff, American culinary graduate, the other a lithe French technology student; together as sweet lovers, sharing French Kisses from dawn 'til dusk, and dusk 'til dawn.
