it does look like a short-tailed opossum, lordy I'm silly :x the ears are spot-on. :)
I should know my opossums better! Dx I love the South American species so much ;-; Fat-tailed mouse opossums and white-eared opossums are my favorites. I SHOULD'VE KNOWNNN
And I tend to assume "oh sugar glider" with flying squirrels all the time Dx Derp.
But anyway....great job with everybody <3 I love all these critters.

Yeah, I'm not surprised seeing as sugar gliders are such a fad pet right now. I actually considered getting an STO a couple months back, but after researching them they seemed pretty much like rats that don't really like to be held much...and their ears fall off if they don't get enough humidity...oh and temps below 70 can kill them. Nahhh.

The way they are looking at stuff like "Please take me home with you" kinda gives me that impression at least.
Everything was done in traditional methods? I like your trace a lot, I would like to know.

I seem to give animals that type of expression by default. XD
Although, I would love to own each of these someday. Especially a tamarin, they are legal in a few states. I'm normally against primates as pets, but tamarins are tiny and supposedly adapt well to captivity.
And yes, all of my art is entirely traditional. :3

Well, no harm done when the "default" means "extremely cute"!
Since I live at an apartment, keeping any of those as pets would be kind problematic, unfortunately and some of them don't even exist where I live, so they are out of question for me.
I really suck at traditional media, because I'm still too messy when drawing... I usually have to clean everything up again, and again, and again... That's why I usually have to lineart everything on the computer but... Linearting sucks... It's boring T_T
