Several years ago, my user icon was a rabbit. I identified deeply with the fertility aspect. Not in a sexual way, but in a creative way. At the time, I was cranking out a *lot* of art, and each piece was significantly better than the previous. It was a time of serious creative growth.
Time passes, life happens, things get in the way of making art. Nothing much is created for a long time. I stop using my rabbit user icon.
More time passes, life stabilizes, I am introduced to stained glass. A new explosion of art begins.
This piece signifies this new creative phase. The sky hare runs so fast and leaps so high that he has to run across the heavens. I have so many ideas for the stained glass, I have to run as fast as I can to keep up with all of them. And one day, I will be able to make the leap to having the stained glass be my full time job.
4.5"h x 13"w, 6pcs.

That's one of the good and bad aspects of the baroque glass. It shows movement really well, and you can add a lot to a piece by making sure the parts are cut so the lines flow just right.
Unfortunately, this sometimes means that the section of glass you really want to use is right in the middle of the sheet. Because of that, it's not as efficient to use and there is a lot more scrap than there would be on a more consistently streaked glass.
But that's ok. I have lots of smaller patterns that make use of the scrap, like holiday ornaments or pendants.
