As promised, the background chocobos that got cropped out of http://www.furaffinity.net/view/7685092/
...I keep mentally picturing the lower-right one in roller skates, for some reason. Which is silly, of course - I'm fairly certain roller skates don't exist in any Final Fantasy series, or at the very least, do not come in chocobo sizes. ^_^;
(Also, I am aware the quality here is lacking, but I'm adapting a real-media sketch into digital with a trackpad. Perhaps at some point in the future I'll borrow
indigoangelcat's mad Wacom skillz and have her digitally ink the original sketches.)
