A'corse, there is a new Planeswalker out now with Gatecrash that gives all your critters double strike, trample, hexproof and haste all in one go. Tis AWESOME in my little hive :D

Such a broken planeswalker. Did you notice that there's a great chance of slivers being out in the third Ravnica set? It's been so heavily hinted at! and the R&D said that Slivers are returning soon.

So I've heard. A friend of mine thought so too. Some sort of "devastating crisis that will put all planes in danger". Slivers are a likely candidate. But then again, Karn traveled the multiverse spreading the Phyrexian oil with him. For all we know, Ravnica may collide with Alara and unleash some kind of hellish Eldrazi mess and it turns out Nicol Bolas is attacking the homeworld of the elder gods or some such madness. Never knows with the WotC :/

Except they're still just dropping the storyball, due to the whole fiasco with Innistrad having no real story for AVacyn restored. But there's a whole bunch of things at once, such as the Eldrazi and the slivers, as well as the mirrodin phyrexians. And Bolas hates Phyrexians, so it's theorized (by friends of mine) that Bolas is actually pulling a Revan and setting up things to prevent the Phyrexians. And the Phyrexians were made by a planeswalker who looked like a dragon, so potentially one of the other Elder Dragons (one other was theorized to be alive). And I think Ravnica is only useful as a small side thing, since it's where Jace is trying to find information of how to stop the Eldrazi. Something three Old School Planeswalkers had issues doing. If Jace manages to do it, that'll just irritate me more with his supremly over done character. *dislikes Jace as a character*

Which could "in theory" be Niv Mizzet, and we're about to see a dragon based Planeswalker free-for-all between Niv, Nicol, Jace, Garuk, Karn... And Bad Ass. Because he is always on the look out for Good Ass. All in all, I'm interested to see just wants on the horizon for Gatecrash!

but the thing is Mizzet isn't a planeswalker yet. And seeing as he kinda got served in original Rav, I'm not so sure he'd be a match against Bolas. Not that anyone is with Conflux empowered bolas, Tezzeret and Jace kinda get pimp slapped a lot. No, I think Mizzet/Izzet and Simic are making the slivers that were shown in Future Sight, the ravnica based slivers controlld by a simic vedalken. I mean... We have a really, really arrogant dragon who made a basal hivemind (firemind) and a guild obsessive with Evolution in a plane frequented by many planeswalkers. Slivers seem like they'd appeal to both, right before mauling and consuming them.

I never had the opportunity to make a Sliver Deck, I made all 10 Guild Decks though along with my Eldrazi Deck...course I love the Rakdos the most -w-

With m14 on the horizon, they're actually bringing the Slivers back. They look.. well.. a LOT different. Something like a "Predator" mixed with a "Xenomorph" Or in same cases a freakin gorilla.
