Have I mentioned that one of the inspirations for all the Alan Wake fanart is the fact that I can do cool things with light and shadow? Seriously, this is my crack.

The way that Alan Wake ends is that Alan realized that there needs to be balance. To rescue his wife from the clutches of the shadows that live in Cauldron Lake, he needs to put something back. Thus, he takes his wife's place. Since I've been using Gen as Alan, Uriel unfortunately gets the role of the captured damsel.

So here is Uriel pulling himself out of the lake after Gen jumps in and uses a device given to her by an entity of light. Since the device produces light to fight the darkness, I figured a flash in the water would illustrate the situation perfectly.
