Because Hollywood writers have no imagination at all!
My theory on Lola: Back when "Space Jam" was created; the writers just threw a female character in the story and had no idea what to do with her. And now that they got this female rabbit character, they can do whatever they want with her.

the truth? Because the old lola peronslaity was waaaayy to "90s" bordering Rob Liefield level of "90s" .
right now she is much more wacky (and sluttiers old lola was sexy but kind of more self controlled on such things)
As i said elsewhere i like Old Lola design(expecially some of the original sketches) but i really dig new lola perosnality. For me craziers a girl is, the more attractive to my eyes she become(to make it clear, my true love for Minerva Mink started once i realized how Maniac and potentially insane she could be...and i kind of dig some of the craziest, often pinkiest, character around)

I agree. I eagerly awaited her showing up in the show (which I find too terribly hit-or-miss) to then see her be this batshit crazy loon. I was pissed. If they wanted to make her funny to compensate for the overly cool vibe she had in Space Jam -which was WAY better than Back in Action- they could have easily pulled from Kath Soucie's other credits and found Morgana Macawbre who was sexy yet not exactly smooth, could throw a tantrum if you said the wrong words, and was more intelligent than the hero.
Now granted there have been some good moments with Dipshit here like the President's Day Song but mostly it involved her actually being normal for a second or cheesecaking.
