Mhhh, say, did you ever think about doing dark ambient but with 80's style synthies?
Like, theres this old SNES game I like very much, its called Shadowrun. Since its an old school cyberpunk setting, the music is very 80's inspired (like 80's synthesizers and stuff like glam rock) and often has a dark tone to it.
