I realize this Kapse is a bit skinnier than Dave usually draws her. The photo I used came out of a magazine for high school proms, and I swear, every girl in that looked like a refugee from a concentration camp. I think the next time I go get a magazine for dress references I'll get one for BBW, where at least the models won't look like they've gone 5 rounds of chemotherapy.

The butterfly is (loosely) based on a real butterfly called the "88 butterfly," for obvious reasons. And it was NOT in the original photo, because I think the starving model would've eaten it.
