I love it! Although a beak in that mask would counteract the reason for it XD
Also, your bird is awesome, especially considering you never draw birds! ^.^

Yeah, at first I was going to draw him with a standard WWI gas mask or something. But then I got to thinking that the beaked ones from plague doctors may be more fitting. Even if it doesn't make sense. x3

haha I like this better anyways. But another animal in a gas mask would be cool to do too, if you were interested in doing a series

well, rat immediately came to my mind, but if it is WW1 themed, then some other animal might be more appropriate. hmmm....
