Name: Tamati Siliva
Age: 36

Occupation: Fire dancer (retired due to injury)

History: Born and raised on Kauai, Tamati moved to the island of Maui at 20 to pursue a job in fire dancing for tourists at one of its many famous beach resorts. When he was 22, he met a woman named Isolina Mapu. After a year of dating, the couple eloped. At 24, Tamati welcomed a daughter named Silei into the world.

The family lived together happily until shortly after Tamati’s 33rd birthday, when his wife confessed to having an affair with a coworker and filed for divorce. During the lengthy court process, a rotator cuff injury at work cost him his job. While both himself and his wife were awarded joint custody of their daughter, the courts ordered Silei to live with her mother because of the more stable financial situation.

Depressed and angered by his inability to work and his limited visits with his daughter, Tamati tried his best to stay out of his empty house and often joined the booming party scene on the island until the early morning hours. On one such occasion, eight months after the divorce was finalized, he brought a cute tourist home after one too many drinks. Under the light of the full moon, she shifted into a werewolf and bit him, cursing him with the same affliction.

Word travels fast in the supernatural networks. Soon after his first shift, Tamati received a job offer in London working under renowned werewolf rehabilitation specialist Jennadelle Bijeau and accepted immediately.

Tamati’s adjusted to lycanthropy fairly well - he enjoys the strength and resilience his beast grants him and eats enough raw meat to keep maneating thoughts at bay. However, because his shoulder injury was still healing when he was turned, it’s never healed correctly and still gives him issues every once in a while (especially during the recovery days after a full moon).
