After some time and many days I've finally finished the AFSS Dasher. Here it is! Modeled and rendered in Maya 2011 for the Active Assaults Saga video game, coming soon in 3D.
Equipped with some of the latest technology, this battleship knows no mercy in the heat of battle.
Typically in a fleet of about 3 to 5 of these ships, these battle ships can cut through almost any defensive line. This ship is also the successor of the AFSS Caliber, providing the Avralian Fleet with more power, more defense, and more speed. This battleship is one of the fastest battleships known in the Shezue system, making it a juggernaut in battle.
While also packing a punch in offense with a variety of turrets and missile launchers, this ship also can carry drones and fighter ships.

It looks like you took my advise. Its not as open and exposed + it is shaped more like an arrow combined with a boat. Very popular design. (nods head) Very popular.
Now it only has the weaknesses of most starwars/warhammer 40k warships, and in my opinion. Those kind of warships are always awesome
I am kinda suspecting that this ship is some form of carrier for fighters right; very much like the Battlestars of BSG? It does lack supreme firepower, but I suspect what it lacks in large guns it replaces with maneuverability. Very nice. Just what I would want.
(looks up and reads description...) I guess you already thought of all of that. I feel kinda silly repeating what you just said. No matter. N
ow from an attackers point of view. I would hate to be rammed by such a ship, for it would probably be very reminiscent of what pre-Roman warships would do to opponent warships. Also It would seem like a pain to send fighter squadrons to engage such warships. In the end, I think its only true weakness would be if an opponent hit it from the side flank, or if some ranged sniping ship took out the bridge from a distance (This would have to be done by a well planned attack due to the fact that your ships are made for speed.)
My conclusion is that the ship is much better than what it was months ago, and that it would fair decently if not better than most sci-fi warships out there.

I had trouble picking out something in gallery that I liked the most to favorite, but I suppose it came down to this. I believe I had finally picked this due to it being for use ingame (as noted in your post) as I like programming for video games, I find it interesting even if the industry is very fast-moving and therefore hard to keep pace with.
