Here is my new fire skink that I am VERY much in love with. He was unfortunately sent to me in bad condition, and is still very much underweight, but I hope to bulk him up.
Beware where u buy online!
Anyway, he is the calmest and sweetest lizard I've owned so far.
He's very relaxed and can just lay on your shoulder for hours despite me having seen some bad info on fire skinks when it comes to handling.
I still have to name him and I'm looking for something odd/unique and not so much a NAME (ie john, steve) If anyone would like to contribute their ideas, feel free!

This isn't the one that was in the worst condition...THAT one is still not doing well if it not worse now. :(
They were ALL underweight and sickly looking, but the other one is the one with the possible mouth-rot ect.
I also don't know the sex, yes because it's hard to tell but I call it male because I'm just partial to doing so.

I agree that its unacceptable and as far as the vet stuff...my friend currently is caring for the sick one (she offered) and no we haven't taken it yet since itd be costly and we were even sure if it was going to make it at first (it just laid still with its eyes closed).
However, it's drinking a lot now and we actually got it eating regularly which we were happy to see. We can't be sure if it's even mouth rot since it seems a bit different (i've seen mouth rot and treated it) It might be something from an injury, but we have no idea.
