I live in the ever rainy Pacific Northwest, Home to tall trees, large slugs, and Microsoft.

Lucky, I have to go looking for my mud. More often than not I can't find any :P

Google Earth, and a well equipped bicycle can be your best friend! Thats often how I go about tracking down the good mud that I've encountered. I still go looking, as well, 1. I'm greedy, and 2. Can ya really have enough good mud?

It is, that little place off to the rear left-ish ranges in depth from in patches and places from my knees to my chest or so before you can feel solid earth, and gravel at the VERY bottom. On the other side of the small water way there is a perpetually soupy pool of muck that is actually a ground fed spring, so that place can get quite deep at that point, I've gotten to about my chest and shoulders in that particularly sloppy soupy muck that oozes about that pond, I probably could go deeper, too, but thats about the depth that I kinda get nervous of.

UmmmHmm! That I do!

Its one of my favorite places. Sadly its on the other side of town (my vehicle died last summer) and its an hour bus ride just to get to some proximity to it. Then another half an hour of bike riding (all our busses have bike racks on them) just to get there!!!

I would definitely come to this place!
