ANother of my species. Named 'Whispers' by the human population because of their silent nature and how they are rarely seen, Whispers are effectively pure spirits summoned from behind by ZryAiina to protect innocent creatures, including members of the human pop., from RiixOrna's undead and other Titan's creatures.
Whispers do not have eyes in the same sense as other creatures. The 'eyes' visible in the drawing will never open unless the Whisper is in a fight; then, once it has located its enemy, it will open the eyes to absorb energy from the atmosphere around it to power a strong beam of light from its mouth.
Instead, Whispers 'see' via the feathers on their head, and to a lesser extent, their wings and tail. They 'listen' to the movement of heat and air against their feathers to determine what is around them and where their targets are. That being so, heavy rainfall can completely confuse a Whisper, and burning all of its feathers off will hinder its 'sight' further.
The bladed arms are usually kept hidden in their thick fur as a last resort for any enemies that get in close, and so very few know that Whispers have arms. Whispers like it that way, for the element of surprise.

oh yea.. sorry for the really blinding backgrounds. xD I usually transparentise and I'm transferring over from dA and some of these I do not have the files for.. so I'm having to take off transparency cus they look absolute rubbish against black, but if I don't have the file I can't edit it smoothly to do that so.. ms paint to strip transparency off .pngs. hurr.

It.. does make sense, I get what you mean. xD Honestly I didn't know what I was doing, I was playing with tools I don't usually use I think. If I could do it again I'd be so very happy.
I didn't think of that but it does O: Now I can't stop picturing cheeky Whispers haha.
