One of my OC's, and from one of my own species. Her name is Rosenri.. Or Rozzie, and she's the leader of her clan and a purebreed.
The species are called Volkar. They look like angels from a distance, but closer in human opinion of them tends to turn more towards 'demon', because of their sharp clawed hands and feet, the way the females will hang upside down bat-like when resting and the slit pupil eyes. Adding to this demonic image is the fact that they're the top predators of their natural habitats and are completely carnivorous. Their teeth are sharp and slice into flesh at an outward angel slightly, and to accommodate this their mouths go further across their otherwise fairly human faces than actual humans do.
Because of their teeth and the slightly different jaw structure needed to host them, only the youngest Volkar are capable of even vaguely human speech. Once their teeth fully grow in and their jaws adjust with age to them, they become incapable of talking and will communicate with shrieks, in addition to their natural thought-projection abilities.

Volkar also have two forms, this one, and a more dragonish form. They usually are born in their dragon forms, and so mothers will carry their babies in their own dragon form.

Colours can be ractically anything, Volkar do not naturally rely on camouflage. They rely more on their high speed flying and manoeuvring through smaller areas like through trees to swipe prey from the floor.
They don't naturally prey on humans but in harsh winters they will begin to snatch small children if hungry enough.
