Here is my WIP submission: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/7629173/
I am letting the clay set over the night (by leaving it with a loose plastic bag gently over it. So the clay does not harden too fast and split) and tomorrow I will cast it in silicone. I have never cast such an intricate piece before so.. we will see what happens... tips appreciated XD

I think it looks beautiful there...
I've had good luck with using making thin glove mold that holds the details without bubbles with a low viscosity silicone(apologies I only know the local silicone which is called "banana skin" at barnes)... then use a more viscous silicon to make another few layers where bubbles aren't an issue.. also you can chop up buggered up silicone molds and use it to bulk the thick layers out (i cut up a stuffed up silicone mold and used that to add some thickness)... this method picked up all the imperfections in my original sculpt :(
Oh and good luck... I'm sure it will be awesome((your stuff always is)
Love how it looks!

I suggest building up behind the ears so that you can make a Y shaped parting line to de-mold the ears and rest of the head easier. Like start up the back of the head then branch off to go up the back of the ears to the tips. Or at least make a parting line up the back of one ear so that when you demold you would peel it off around that ear, around the muzzzle then off the other ear.
I hope that makes sense. >.<

Wow, this is coming out really amazing. The ears and cheeks really pop the best i think o3o
Is this an Egyptian Mau by anychance? The ears really give it away if it is, other than that I wouldn't know off the top of my head what other species it could be other than serval or some kind of smaller big cat.

i would say use the brush on silicone's like rebound but do a thin layer first and let it drip down the face, paying special attention to all deep areas blowing out and popping bubbles on the way. you could get away with de-gloving this like one of you resin masks or like mentioned above use some thivex (thickening agent) on the silicone to build a line of thick silicone going from the base to the back of each ear so you can cut into the silicone later to make removal easier. then use thivex on the 2nd and 3rd layer for a nice thick mold. Keys are real helpful to keep your cut lines in place as i have to do this with a couple of my horn type molds.
the face looks lovely and has such a cute expression ^-^

When casting a detailed piece dont use a brush on silicone, if its a small piece especially. Ive learned from own experience and from professors, its sometimes best to build a custom box around the sculpture, and use a pouring silicone. Such as moldstar 16 by smooth on, you can however use a brush on silicone but you have to practically paint it like you would a painting a very thin layer at first then progressively thicker, to make sure you get all the little details and undercuts. Even then I have had instances where i the silicone doesnt go into the smaller detailed pieces and I get small "open" areas. So personally I suggest a box built around around something simple and edges hot glued and a small string around to keep the sides up, and a pour on silicone.
Thats what I do for my small pieces anything not to big.
