Look at the dancing animals! They look so happy! And that's definitely the most star-studded jazz band I've ever seen. =^w^=

 donovan commissioned this wonderful painting for our one-year anniversary, which was on the 12th. We celebrated with a quiet night (well, not too quiet >:3 ), and he surprised me with the greatest gift I have ever received. I was completely dumbfounded and in total awe when I opened up the giant envelope. The colors, the characters, the expressions, Kaput did a marvelous job with everything. There's a reason she's my favorite artist here on FA. =^w^=

The scene itself is from last year. Donovan came to visit me when I was still in college, and I wanted to bring him to the Jazz Dance that I was playing at. My school has several bands, and I was in the top band at the time. However, while the other groups played their sets, we took time to enjoy the moment and dance with each other. We may not have been the only ones on the dance floor, but it certainly felt like it at the time.

This is Donovan's favorite memory of the two of us, and one of my favorites as well. I remember being so happy to be holding him, to be moving with him while soft music floated through the air.

I love you more than anything, my Big Gay Elk, and I will always be happy to dance with you. Thanks again, love. :3
