Digitigrade Mudwalk Workout (FWA 2012 Commission)
Commissioned at FWA 2012 by

Second of the con, Kartonis brings me a new character to have fun with, this time the kangaroo Evelyn, demonstrating the extra clearance she gets by having long digitigrade feet, letting her run through slop that might stymie a plantigrade-footed character. At least till she gets to the really deep stuff, in which case she'd sink deeper (although she might have an easier time pulling her feet free for each step).
Thanks to carrying a scanner with me to the Artist's Alley, I had a clean scan to work with as I tweaked it for posting, mostly fixing up lineweight irregularities, rough merges and such. As a finishing touch, I substituted a comic-style font for her formerly handwritten boastful remark. Also, first time drawing a 'roo.
Brush-inked pencils on bristol, cleanup and minor digital edits in Micrografx Picture Publisher 10.

Oh wow, you really went above and beyond with the clean-up on this one, making it look utterly delightful! *grins* I shall have to hit you up for the full-resolution of this, as it's far better than anything I could hope to manage with my scanner!
Awesome work as always man, and thanks again!
