Okay. I trie to write you a tutorial. My english ist not the best...
1. First of all I took the photo. Not as HDR... a normal Photo with a opend Aperture (4.5) a low ISO and lil bit too long shutterspeed.
2. I tonemapped the Photo with Photomatix (A HDR-program). Greated a fake-HDR. So I highlighted the details. I don't remember the actually settings.
3. I saved the tonemapped version of the photo in the same directory.
4. I opend the originalphoto in Photoshop and add the tonemapped version in a new layer over the original.
5. I make some corrections at the photo (cancelt some interference from the creating of a Fake-HDR) and play arround (Yes... again) with the gradation-curves to create a stronger contrast. So I highlighted the details a little bit more.
6. I added a white layermask to the tonemapped layer and paint with a black brush the Eyes out. At this area you can see the layer beneath.
7. Now I set the saturation of the originallayer a 'lil bit higher.
That's it. The Photo is manipulated.
