Had this idea on my mind since the beginning of the weekend, and I spent the best part of the day putting it together! As uneventful as the week became, this brings a fitting end to my so called Space Theme.
Playing around with body-types, one style I've always wanted to perfect was the strong female form. A beautiful combination of curves and muscle. Harking back to my original works, I wanted to take on a character that could really push my skills once again.
I took inspiration from probably my favourite online artist -
Jebriodo
His understanding of form and function, his use of colour and tone. It's work that makes me want to improve myself on a daily basis.
So, with all that praise out of the way, here's my take on the amazon.
Harking from both the classic depictions and giving it a futuristic twist, influenced by everything from tropical tans, star wars, prefabricated houses and even the Nintendo Entertainment System. A videogame heroine inspired by the likes of Modern Warfare and Chrono Trigger.
A soldier of the highest order, a warrior of unrivaled strength and smarts. Killer in heels and a mini vest.
So, I hope you guys get a kick out of this! It was a lot of fun to draw this out.
