I did notice in the turian facial animations that there is subtle shifting of the cranial-facial plates, so that gives some room for toying with, y/n?

Hahaha yeah I was kinda disappointed the flexible crest wasn't made canon because IT IS ADORABLE.

I also somehow feel validated about your mandible arrows there; I also picture turians dropping and spreading the mandibles when they are happy (they are dropped but close to the jaw when sad, and they are raised up and pressed close against their jaw in a defensive posture when scared or angry) /blahblahheadcanonrambles
