Yup, Georgiy is absolutely adorable, no doubt about it. New lady Svetlana is cute too, at least on a first impression. Wonder what the heck Vlad is planning to use her in his nefarious scheme.
But man, Karl is seriously going off the deep end here, first with the constant lack of explanations. And then there's "Before you"? "Before you?" Really? He actually went there? Wow, Karl, you are a douchebag.

I do agree with Georgiy being adorable there. But as for Cody's dad, it's not like he can explain about Vlad's past about being an ex-KGB agent that easily in public (or if Cody would even believe it the first time he hears it).
The "before you" comment is rather iffy though. I could see it as him trying to be supportive of Cody being gay by teasing him about it, but it would come off being awkward.

Well, my interrogative is that considering how far away Russia is from the U.S, it's not like there couldn't be an excuse. Karl doesn't have to say he's got an ex-KGB agent as a brother, he could just say something like he has an older brother in Russia that he hasn't seen in ages and they're out of touch and hopes the family can meet him sometime. Whatever the case may be, we'll likely be eharing an explanation in due time.
And in regards to Karl's comment, I dunno, I think it's already been made clear that Karl is cool with Cody being gay, so I can't see how his attempt at a joke there has anything to do with that. But I already made it clear what I thought about it. lol

I actually thought that was fricking hilarious, not a douchebag moment. Really, it's no worse than any parent teasing their kids about their love lives. So unless you're just against parents doing that on principle, regardless of sexuality...and if you are, well...you should take a chill pill, bud, because parents do that all the time and it doesn't make them douchebags.

And no, sorry, I don't buy it. There's teasing and then there's sticking a foot in your mouth. I mean, one's got to feel for Cody here. All of a sudden there are two strangers who he learns are family, whom he had never even heard of before, with no explanations from his dad, who's being overly secretive about things, and I still don't understand why. He really just could never say he has a brother and nephew who live in Russia? Forget secret agent stuff, lots of people have family members who live in other countries, so where's the issue in just telling his wife and son "we have family in Russia, I hope you can meet them someday"?
The cousin is like a not-perverted version of Jake, though of course it'll take Cody a bit to get used to a big, rambunctious, huggy snuggy personality like his. I disliked Cody in regards to that ultra elaborate lie to his parents and in some instances with Doug (which can be forgiven in a way due to his inexperience with relationships), but that was about it, if I remember correctly (and he still has the most Crowning Moment of Awesome in the entire comic's run). Right now I feel sorry for the dude, having to put up with all this. Karl I've disliked since he showed himself positively giddy at the idea of Cody being a cheating womanizer. From that moment on, in my eyes, he was a dilf no more. XD
As for the whole Todd thing, I think the difference is that Cody's always been respectful about anybody's sexual preferences, Todd's included of course. So seeing his newfound, humorless uncle outright say he's going to fuck Todd and not care about Todd's preferences, well, that could make any friend mad. But when Cody sees him, he notices right away, even through Karl's fancy clothes, that his father has put on muscle. So Karl has to have been working out for some time now.

AWWWWW!!! BIG SAD MOURNFUL BEGGAR KITTY EYES!!! That's definitely a genetic trait. I wonder if Georgiy's cluelessness re. slang is just another way of his pretending to be denser than he really is? I love the way he channels Steve Martin and Dan Ackroyd in panel six. ("Two wild and crazy guys!") Ah, what an enterance! Svetlana is obviously a former Olympic gymnast. Love that fluffy tail! In this fandom, even if there isn't more to that relationship, you can bet the fans are imagining/drawing/writing up things about any number of pairings in the cast. I'm just thankful that it wouldn't produce offspring if it ever transpired. (In a million years, in an alternate universe, when pigs fly...) xD
I'm not sure what makes me laugh harder--the fact (seemingly) Todd is about to get, er, ball-busted by Vlad, or that Karl of all people is teasing Cody about it not being him. Seriously...the fact that his own dad can tease him about something like that with his best friend not only shows Cody was utterly wrong about his parents' reaction to him being gay, it shows Karl at least is FAR more accepting of it than he ever could have imagined.

I know that you won't show sex; I also know that you won't allow Todd to get pulled into anything gay even offscreen. What I can't figure out is how this will end any other way, except that it will surely be hilarious. Well, I do have one idea, and it has to with Svetlana getting too into her role. I just hope roofies or anything comparable really aren't involved. That doesn't fit your style, but it also would be way too out-of-line and wrong for you to depict.
One note: you forgot to color Cody's shirt in panel 6; if not for the hair and the dialogue, I would have had trouble figuring out who was who.
No rush of course, we know it's tax season and anyway this is all in fun.

I knew that was his vest; it just seemed to me to be much wider than the vest should have been, so that shirt would be showing. But I looked again and I guess his vest is that wide. So, no worries.
